WHAT IS VeriPay?
VeriPay is a "Pay-to-Use" credit enhancement service that can increase your chances of getting approved for a loan and help you to make all of your loan payments when they are due.

HOW DOES VeriPay WORK?
'VeriPay-ing' your car loan involves installing a mini computerized receipt system (called ON TIME®) in the vehicle for the term of the finance agreement. At the beginning of each payment period a small payment light prompts you to enter a "receipt code" into an under-dash keypad. Receipt codes are the finance company's electronic signature and confirm that timely payment has been received.

If you ever miss making a scheduled installment, you are notified of the default when you next phone for a receipt code. If the missed payment is not then caught up within the allocated grace period (normally 3-6 days), the in-car computer will provide you 3 days of visual and audible warnings before immobilizing the vehicle. To remobilise the vehicle, payment must be made and the corresponding receipt code entered.

IS VeriPay SAFE?
Yes - totally safe. There are more than 250,000 of the in-car receipt systems in use around the world without any known incidents. ON TIME has also been ruled "Safe" by US Courts. The system can only immobilise a vehicle while the engine is turned off.

HOW DO I OBTAIN RECEIPT CODES?
Current receipt codes are made available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week from VeriPay's free-to-call code release department. Alternatively, codes may be sent to your mobile phone by SMS txt or email*.

HOW CAN VeriPay HELP ME?
VeriPay is your payment buddy - the service helps you to keep track of your payments. Making all of your payments when they are due will enable you not only to avoid the additional expense of late fees and penalty interest, but also to build or maintain an excellent credit rating. The ON TIME system also has a security feature whereby the system can be used as an immobiliser so no-one except authorised drivers can start it.

WHAT DOES VeriPay COST?
Please contact a VeriPay Preferred Lender to discuss the cost of the service.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY WHILE MY VEHICLE IS DISABLED AND I NEED TO USE THE CAR?
There is an emergency code that you may use up to 3 times during the term of your loan. Each use will allow the vehicle to be started for exactly 24 hours even though the in-car computer is set to 'immobilise'.

ISN'T IT EMBARRASSING TO HAVE TO USE VeriPay?
To be declined for a loan that you need and know you can afford is embarrassing. To incur late fees and penalty interest charges is embarrassing. To have your vehicle repossessed is embarrassing. Using VeriPay is smart. It is your credit "seatbelt". In any case, the in-car receipt system is very discreet (see insert photo) and is usually only ever seen by the driver.
